Alan Gilbert was born and lives in Southampton a port city on the south coast of England. He began writing poetry whilst studying psychology and art at The Open University. His first book of poetry, "All that Rhymes with Love" was published in March 2010. followed by, "Love is a Dreamer" in November of the same year.
