Ginny Jordan lives in New York, where she taught for many years. While teaching she was the only one in her school to receive the Outstanding Service Award. She is an accomplished photographer, having shown and sold her photography in juried art shows. In addition to art, she enjoys travel, theater, reading, and sports. She is also an active philanthropist often volunteering her time to children’s causes. What’s Making Walter C, Laugh? was written to honor her only child, Craig. One of his best friends described Craig as “someone who everyone wanted to be around and “someone who would take every opportunity to make moments that we would laugh about for months.” A promise to keep that feeling going as his legacy became this book. Many of his friends and family contributed to its making, sharing her goal to write a book that children could have fun with forever.
