James G. Shaw is principal of Shaw Resources, an executive consulting firm. Jim’s involvement in quality and performance has spanned his professional career, from his early days as a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems to a 15-year tenure with Amdahl Corporation. In 1992, Jim applied for, and subsequently received, a patent for much of his methodology. A second patent was later awarded. Jim has developed software that embodies much of his methodology. Jim Holds a BA in physics and an MBA in finance and quality improvement from the University of California. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) member of the Institute of Management Consultants and a senior member of the American Society for Quality.
