Born and raised in Portsmouth, Ohio to Roy & Wilma Carrier. Currently resides in Chillicothe, Ohio where he is on a journey to bring inspiration through his life and story. I have learned that a time of fasting is not just about starving yourself , but about making a consecrated commitment to God to set aside something in order to draw closer to him. A time to meditate on His word and be in His presence for a specific purpose. I chose this topic , because it is something that many Christians neglect even though Jesus specifically says " not if you fast, but when you fast". My book contains a 28 day journal within it each day a specific prayer to focus on. Maybe for a specific situation in your life that you are seeking God's direction on ,but maybe you don't know what decision to make I encourage you to fast and seek God's face.
