Hi! I'm Jo, an Austrian writer and filmmaker. I love to write screenplays and I believe that many people would love to read them - if they had the opportunity. Here it is! The difference between reading a regular book and a screenplay is that the script leaves a lot of the decisions about what the characters and their surroundings look like and many other details to the reader! The reader's imagination is called to action, and for many people this is a rare opportunity to even use the creative inner treasure that we all possess. So reading a screenplay is really an internal, very personal spiritual and energetic exercise. The reader is pretty much the director with an entire film on her or his mind! Mostly there is first a popular book, then a script and a film-adaptation. Why not the other way around? Hopefully the creation of films from my scripts will be ignited by word of mouth. I'd like that - and wouldn't you just love to compare "your" movie with the one on the big screen?
