John Johnson retired from the investment management business in 2002. During his forty-one year career, he held many high level positions in money management and securities analysis. Best known as a contrarian investor, he specialized in finding value among out-of-favor or obscure stocks and bonds. During his working career, the author was the subject of a number of articles in such publications as Barron’s and the New York Times.
