I have not always been a gardener. I didn't learn about plants and gardening from my parents or grandparents - I learned about gardening through research and of course trial and error. I am now a very passionate gardener and having travelled down this road without the help of a person to teach me all the little tricks - or even the basics - I understand how difficult it can be for any gardener, be they a novice or an expert, to find the information they need to build and improve their gardens. This is why I have decided to write about gardening. I want to help people learn about the wonderful world of gardening and I want to make it easy for them to find all the information that will help. My first book caters for Australian gardeners as I realised there was a distinct lack of companion planting information for Australians but stay tuned for more great gardening books on a range of topics that cater for people all around the world.
