Leonard E. Adams was southeast audit manager with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) in Atlanta, Georgia, for more than twenty years. Leonard specialized in forensic financial investigations in criminal cases and served as the principal advisor to U. S. attorneys, special agents in charge, regional directors, and the like. The International Association of Arson Investigators published one of his major works on criminal investigations. He earned certifications from three national professional organizations and authored national directives and guidelines on Arson-For-Profit and Forensic Financial Investigations.
