Larry Hines
CANADIAN PLAYWRIGHT / AUTHOR Larry Hines (L. E. Hines) was born in Southampton, Ontario in 1964. He attended Walkerton District Secondary School in Walkerton, Ontario, where he co-authored his first play, THE PRIVATE EYE, a three-act comedy. In addition to his writing, Hines has had a career as a Business Systems Analyst, E-Business Manager and Apple Computer Sales Manager. In January 2008, Hines's full-length comedy THE TROUBLE WITH RICHARD made its debut with the Blackhorse Village Players in Caledon, Ontario. The production receiving 3 THEA nominations from ACT-CO, including a Potpourri of Achievements nomination for writing. THE TROUBLE WITH RICHARD was then selected by the Northumberland Players in Coburg, Ontario as part of their 2010-2011 season. In May 2010, with co-author Kate Horzempa, Hines completed FRIENDS, WITH BENEFITS, another full-length comedy. More plays are in the works, along with several novels and screenplays.
