Mayhem Media Group's premier author, Latecia Shantrea, was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She learned early of her love of sports, entertainment and movies, but nothing captivated her attention quite like writing. Latecia infamously wrote her first book at age 11, when her mother asked her to draw a picture and the rest is history. Latecia has been involved in some form of creative endeavor since then, each year elevating her craft and those around her with her tenacity for achievement. The year 2011 saw the launch of Mayhem Media Group, that houses a marketing development firm, a clothing line (Established Mayhem Clothing) and most notably, a publishing sector. With Latecia's first work, 'Between Friends' she hopes to build on the age old relationship of friends while examining how those relationships impact us years later. She calls the work "just a funny rendition of some of the things we go through while trying to find love" and hopes her readers connect.
