I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. I completed my Master's degree in Counseling & Guidance at Texas A&M University San Antonio. I began writing poetry when I was 7 years old. It became my outlet and way of expressing how I felt when I was unable to speak. I strongly believe in the power that poetry has in healing someone when they are going through any type of hardship. This is just a small collection of my own personal poems that have helped me through some harsh times. There is so much that I have yet to write, so may this be the beginning of my unspoken journey shared with the world. :)
