Neal Parks is an award-winning author, artist, illustrator, paranormal researcher, podcaster, narrator, and filmmaker from Chillicothe, Ohio. For more than three decades, Parks has explored the strange, unexplained, and mysterious through books, comics, audiobooks, documentaries, podcasts, and film. He is the author of Paranormal Chronicles: Tales of Humor, Horror and the Absolutely Strange (2008), Haunted Chillicothe (2010), Haunted Holidays (2012), Alternate Universes: Time Travel and the Unexplained (2016), Haunted Enough (2018), Ghosts of Ross County, Ohio (2024), and Humanity Zero: Rural Apocalypse, along with other books he has coauthored and illustrated. His creative work also includes the “Chillercothe” paranormal horror comic book series, three audiobooks, and illustrations for children’s books. Parks is the host of Paranormally Speaking with Neal Parks, where he explores ghosts, UFOs/UAPs, cryptozoology, haunted locations, folklore, and unexplained phenomena. He has also written and narrated horror films and documentaries and has appeared in productions associated with the Discovery, History, and Travel Channels, including Inside the Paranormal, MonsterQuest, and Haunted Ohio. His work has also been featured in Ghosts from Coast to Coast.
