My husband and I are retired and live in Wales. We lived for many years in Dorset where we were both members of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestre. When our children came along I left the orchestra to be a full time mum I was then able to revive my love of horses while teaching cello at schools in Hampshire. These four books were writen for my grand children. 'Shazzan' is a nostalgic account of our childrens adventures with their ponies (1970-80's) on the miles of open moor land where we lived before they left home. 'Humbug' is a Shetland pony that one of our grandchildren loved and learnt to ride on and he has since been a friend to many small children. 'Three stories' are for all young children that love animals Kevin, (in 'Kevin's pet lamb') is another of our grandchildren. 'The Long way home' is a storey inspired by one of our dogs,a Welsh Border Collie These four books I hope will be enjoyed by children and encourage a love and understanding of animals.
