Richard Rogers, a Tallahassee native and graduate of Florida State University in Mass Communications, imoved to Denver in 1973 to begin his graphic design career. After meeting his wife Susan, they relocated to Palm Island on Miami Beach and lived in South Florida for ten years, before migrating diagonally across the country to Vashon Island, Washington. They have resided on Vashon for over two decades and live in a 28-sided home they built with the help of friends. Richard enjoys birding, cultivating an organic garden, and keeping a keen eye on Puget Sound for Orca whales that frequent the waters surrounding the island from Autumn to Spring. He has run his own graphic design and web development business for over 30 years and is a writer for Vashon Island’s music, comedy and variety show Church of Great Rain.
