Rookie Burwick was born on July 16th, 1980 in Lewiston, Maine. Growing up, Rookie loved to tell his cousins and friends stories that he would make up. As he got older, he started writing his own short stories. When he turned fifteen, he wrote his first full novel, "Monster in the Moors". Rookie now lives in Boulder, Colorado with his family of five children, and his wife, Eveline. Rookie also runs a comic strip known as "Prehistoric Daze".
