Shophar began studying Qi Gong (Breath Work) in 2002 and Energy Body Work in 2007. He is a student of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). He also has studied Hebrew Kabbalah, African Spirituality systems (Egyptian Tree of Life and IFA ) as well as Tantra. He began doing Energy Body Work professionally in 2014.
