Sometime in her formative years, Shira decided to skip any story without an HEA. A die-hard romantic, she discovered the world of M/M slash romance when a fellow writer convinced her to co-author a love story between a violinist and a conductor. She's been addicted to reading and writing the genre ever since thanks to Brego Whitecloud, who taught her that it's more fun to write about two men in one story than just one. A former professional opera singer turned attorney, Shira adores anime, manga, yaoi, and anything remotely Japanese (including sushi). She's given up TV for evenings spent on her laptop, and doesn't go anywhere without her pile of unread M/M slash on her Kindle. Shira is married with 2 children and 2 insane dogs, and when she's not writing, she's in the courtroom trying to make the world safer for children. When she's not working, she can be found aboard a 30' catamaran at the Carolina coast, with her favorite sexy captain at the wheel.
