Adam Grohman is the co-founder of the Underwater Historical Research Society (UHRS) and the author of over thirty books that have explored various aspects of maritime history. His in-depth research has provided insight into hundreds of shipwrecks, Civil War-era sub-marine technology, early diving equipment of the U.S. Navy’s U.D.T. and S.E.A.L. teams, the last pirate hung in the United States, Theodore Roosevelt’s historic submarine ride and lifelong support of the U.S. Navy, and maritime terrorism.
