About
Adelle Bradford

To us mere mortals, the mind of a lifelong writer can, at times, become a frightening thing to behold in its workings. Ms. Bradford stated in 1968: "I'm having an awful time – my mind is full of poetic imagery, pictures and words and snatches and bits and pieces. I've never been so badly bothered. It's like I'm full to overflowing with poetry and and bits and scraps keep bubbling up in my mind. What an image that is: I'm having stomach cramps in my mind as a prelude to a severe attack of verbal diarrhea!” Adelle Bradford was a child of the dustbowl. “I have seen, heard, and fully experienced so very many things that are now but yesterday's dreams, dry and musty historical facts lost in the pages of dusty old books, or slowly fading away in musty old photo albums full of yesterday's forgotten people."
