Adriano Sanna is an FX Artist (and teacher) who has been working and researching in the fields of cinema, TV, and digital products since 2001. His research has led him to experiment with new technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality in museum settings like Villa Adriana (Tivoli), Museum of the City of Tivoli, and for major clients including Moncler, Volkswagen, TIM, and Vodafone. His investigations focus particularly on indoor navigation technologies, 3D reconstructions, and volumetric recognition of sculptures and outdoor locations. Since 2010, he has been collaborating with leading companies in the 3D graphics field, developing his passion and specializing abroad in 3D character animation for videogames and films, Matte painting, and special effects simulations. He has collaborated with international animation and VFX studios such as Skydance Animation (Madrid/Los Angeles) and Scanline VFX (Montreal/Vancouver), working on feature films and TV series distributed widely and online on platforms like AppleTV, Netflix, and Prime Video.
