My name is Andrew Gordon. I was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1951 to Jewish immigrant parents and raised in a public housing project in Queens. After graduating from Queens College, I spent the next thirty years teaching English and History in the NYC public high schools. I am presently retired and trying my hand at writing books, instead of teaching them.
