ENGLISH: A. de Chirico (photographer well known also as Demian Savinio) transforms each of his images from a simple picture to a sensual work of art. Few photographers have so ruthlessly expressed their personal vision and aesthetic through the lens of a camera. With contrasting whites cutting through the inky dark backgrounds, de Chirico's imagery enters through one's eyes and into one's heart, one's soul. White light becomes white heat becomes white meat. The result gives these forms and images a three-dimensional reality. The glossy, colorful flesh jumps off the page, so vivid as if one can touch the real, living body. de Chirico's fine art photography has been the subject of CD covers, film posters, and exhibitions, as well as much-sought-after art residing in significant private collections. ITALIANO: A. de Chirico aka Demian Savinio si forma come artista visivo con una specializzazione in decoro ecclesiastico, continuando poi il percorso all’Accademia delle Belle Arti di Roma: è qui che coadiuvato dalla fortuna di avere come insegnante Nato Frascà (approfondendo discipline di “teoria della percezione” e “psicologia della forma”) sviluppa la sua vena Dadaista e la tecnica del collage attraverso il ritaglio ed incollaggio di immagini preesistenti, cedendo con gli anni il posto ad immagini realizzate appositamente e assemblate per ottenere un effetto quanto più vicino al realistico, ma senza mai rinunciare ad una artigianalita' che ritroviamo nell'uso del bodypainting.
