This is a photograph of Alexa Pope. She was the only child of a Scottish father and an Irish mother which makes her lineage pure Celt. She has had a very hard incarnation this time. Losing her mother very early and losing her father at fifteen years of age, she had to adjust to life alone. She also lost two of her sons, one aged 22 and the other aged 32. They were lost in very tragic circumstances. Her first book, GET OUT, (for the sake of the children). It is the true story of an eighteen year long marriage with a very abusive man. The experience for all the family was horrendous and it brought about the emotional crippling of the children involved. The man was a thieving, lying, adulterous,violent and vicious rapist. He was a piece of sad humanity, if indeed he was a human at all. He was closer to the animal fraternity than anyone could conceive. The script gives the reader a, 'warts and all', view of this love to hate story.
