Alex Painter is a lifelong baseball fan, and a die-hard, fourth generation fan of the Cleveland Guardians (as are his nine siblings). He graduated from Earlham College (Richmond, Indiana) in 2010 and majored in history. Baseball history and research are among his passions, especially the histories of the Cleveland baseball, the Negro Leagues, and the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Painter currently resides in Richmond, Indiana with his wife, Alicia, and children Greyson, Eleanor, and Harper.
