Alison James grew up in England, where she first came to love a good historical novel. She has been writing since the age of three. After moving to the United States, Alison has written over a dozen historical novels, published online to wide acclaim. Some of these novels stand alone, while others form the LANDFALL series set in Nelson’s Navy at the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Readers fall in love with Alison’s characters and come to care about them like friends. She has received countless emails begging for new stories, and more about the beloved old ones! Alison lives in western North Carolina and is married with two children. Her mother gave her a love of literature and history that has lit her entire life.
