From a very small child I dreamed of having a horse of my own but never thought it really possible, until 2001, when I was able to work with horses every day & bought my first pony, Stanley, a Connemara cross, who is now in spirit but still with me in my work every day. Now, horses are my life. I am a qualified Teacher, with an Honours Degree in Psychology, a Reiki Master Teacher, ReikiDrum Practitioner, Author of several books on horse psychology, wellbeing and behaviour, human wellbeing and journaling; guardian to The Free Spirit Ponies, a naturally kept herd of horses and ponies living at Free Spirit Farm (where health, happiness & harmony come naturally) & Founder of The Free Spirit Ponies Project (promoting positive compassionate Horse Guardianship, based on friendship, trust, partnership, knowledge & nature, through example and education). My books are a result of the lessons I've been taught & the knowledge I've gained from The Free Spirit Ponies & other horses I've had the honour of meeting, and my promise to share that knowledge to help horses & their people everywhere
