Andries B. Louw is an author, poet, and minister born in Bothaville, South Africa in 1981. He has been writing poetry since 1996 and has been published in several collections by the International Society of Poets. Louw is the imaginative mind behind the superhero character Mantisman, whom he has been developing since childhood. His passion for writing and storytelling led him to pen various short stories and larger works over the years. An ordained minister with a Doctor of Divinity from the Universal Life Church, Louw brings his spiritual insights into his writing. He previously compiled a book called The Truth About, which is available on Amazon. Louw's debut fantasy novel The Rising focuses on an epic hero's journey with mystical elements. He expertly blends world-building, action, and romance in service of an inspirational tale about destiny. Louw lives in South Africa where he continues to write and pursue multi-media projects.
