I began writing, because I believe God led me to write a book to help young men avoid the struggles that I did as I attempted to blaze my own path through maturity. Writing became an enjoyment to me, so I decided to write Phoenix Empire, my first novel. It began as a fun little story of my friends and I, but the idea grew legs and kept evolving.
