Annette Perry is an avid writer, Illustrator, and self publisher for the Nana Said children’s book series as well as Soulful Journey. Annette is a native of Brooklyn, NY who began her professional career in technical design. Having a deep passion for outreach, she transitioned to social work and community advocacy. She also host an open podcasts on you tube with parents and care givers framing conversations that highlight gaps in early childhood literacy. When she is not busy creating literature she uses her time and design skills to assist various non-profit agencies focused on youth and community building.
