About
Arielle J. Scott
Arielle Scott was born in Virginia and grew up bouncing between Virginia Beach and New York. She and her husband have been together for ten years, and she has five children. She is a Domestic Violence Survivor and a Sexual Assault Survivor. She has a newfound love for mental health after experiencing a major health scare herself and it all being linked to anxiety, trauma and suppressed feelings. Graduating with a Practical Nursing Degree and holding an EMT License, she worked in the Healthcare System for over 10 years. After suffering from a series of seizures that left her in ICU fighting for her life. She then had to begin to find a new purpose and carve out a new path. Not sure of what her next steps would be she asked God to show her, give her a sense of what's next he clearly told her to "Write It Down." So that's what she did. Arielle was diagnosed with "PNES", Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures. She learned that these seizures were not due to brain activity but due to years of working in trauma, extreme emotions and anxiety. She has found therapy in her writing. Being able to put her own feelings on paper gave her a new way to help others by sharing her stories. While the stories she writes are fictional, the root of them are from pieces of her own life. Join her on this journey, I'm sure it's going to be a hell of a ride.
