Arthur C. Stafford is a retired clinical laboratory scientist, and a U.S. Navy veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman with the U. S. Marines. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology from Kent State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree from Lake Erie College. He is the author of several scientific and business articles related to the clinical laboratory, and retired from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs after twenty-five years of service. THE SIGNAL FROM SIRIUS is his first venture into the art of writing science fiction. He resides in Madison, Ohio, with his wife, Pat, and a black cat named Katie.
