Audrey was formerly Head of English at a Secondary school in Surrey, spending many happy holidays with her family in Cornwall. Unsurprisingly, most of her novels are set in Cornwall, from the Trevannions Trilogy, starting with "The Granite House" through to "Marah Cove", and the "Shadow of the Mine & other short stories" for children. When asked what to call the third novel in the Trilogy, one of her grandson's suggestion was "Yet another house"; however, "Marah Cove" won the vote. "When the moon is blue" is set wherever children, witches & a talking cat call home.
