Mary Adamson
Mary Troxclair Adamson (aka M.E. Robinson) holds an MA in Writing for Children from the University of Central Lancashire, just a hop, skip, and train ride from Peter Rabbit’s home. Mary’s BA in History was awarded at Sul Ross State University where her research on a Jewish cowboy appears in the Journal of Big Bend Studies and her creative writing in The Sage. Some other publications have include her short story, A Horse of Course that was showcased at the 2012 International Women’s Day event at UCLAN in Preston, and her research on the legend of the Pied Piper, which appears in The Looking Glass: New Perspectives on Children’s Literature, Vol17, 2013. Mary spends her time between Texas with her family and Yorkshire, England, where she enjoys walking on the moors in the footsteps of the Brontes, lending a hand to Riding for the Disabled (RDA) and having picnics with her husband.
