Dea Thomas is a 12 year old Taurus born in April. She started to write when she was 7 mostly little short stories that have escalated into what she does now. She never wanted to actually become an author but after reading series like; Twilight, Vampire Diaries, and The Mortal Instruments she became inspired. Dea is an avid reader and her main inspirations would be Stephanie Meyer, L.J. Smith, and others. A lot of her characters are based off of her friends, and a lot of chapters in her book are based off of events that have happened to her. Her biggest troubles are writing books about humans because she just loves the supernatural world. When asked about her aversion to the human world she responded, “I don’t want to write about things that could happen to me.
