About
Rune Arvik

Rune Arvik is not just an author, and someone interested in inner and outer crises of the moment in history. They were someone dedicated to finding a solution, not because of mere intellectual desire, yet because their own survival depended on it. This exploration started with their book Alchemy of the Psyche, which explores the foundation of Jungian depth psychology, and the mytho-historical foundations of the modern conflict, tied to the archetypes of Dionysus, Wolf-Apollo and the Sovereignty Goddess, long pushed into the Collective Shadow of civilisation. This book informed by the work of Jungian analyst Sylvia Brinton Perera on the scapegoat complex and the work of Jung, also delves into the ancient mystery schools, to shed light on the origins of what was lost. Part of the authors journey, which became the book Rebirth of Nyx, was to understand the Apollonian-Dionysian, and to look at the truth behind it. The pre-verbal and somatic truth behind the conflicts originating in the psyche, all of which culminated in their work The Nyktelioi Path, creating out of the previous works the scaffolding needed for this. Finally the Arche of the Primordia bundle, grounding the mythopoesis into neurology and polyvagal theory.
