Thomas Turner is a 47 year old author, poet and screenwriter. He has been writing poetry since the age of eleven. During his high school years, he continued to write for fun and for competition, having some of his poems published in the school’s literary magazine and winning several awards and other academic honors. He also had several newspaper articles published during high school as well as when he was in college. In the spring of 2008, he published his first collection of poetry, titled "What Are Words For?" He also published his first novel, an intense, gripping detective’s tale by the title of "Blood on the Badge" during that same time. A video engineer by trade, in between his working hours and when he's not in front of a computer composing, he enjoys spending his time reading other authors, fishing, collecting coins, artwork and antiques.
