About
bMoneywize
Hello! My name is Arinola Araba. I am the founder of bMoneywize, a fun-loving inventor, entrepreneur, and mum to three teenagers and I enjoy working with young people. My previous education and experiences have involved the Health, Project Management, IT and Politics disciplines. The idea to start this project hit me when my teenage daughter would bring her friends home to cook them ‘ Jollof rice’ (an African delicacy) every day when she came home from school, but I was out of work…! I had to do something or two about teaching kids the VALUE of MONEY! We (Seun and our team) brought her and her friends together to form a project group to develop a game concept to answer the above question. Since then, I have created a board game, app, and online course to help children (and their parents!) understand how to manage their money. What has followed the birth of the bMoneywize game has been a string of award nominations, interviews on the BBC, ITV News, BEN TV, Times and The Sunday Times / Lloyds Bank (Yes business can) programme, and there’s more to come… Our Vision To become a world leader in equipping a younger generation with timely financial skills to enable them to make debt-free choices in an increasingly cashless society! We provide resources and services in form of interactive educational games, books, courses and workshops respectively
