Adebisi Adenipekun
Adebisi Adenipekun is a Nigerian researcher, policy specialist, and storyteller whose work bridges the worlds of science, governance, and human development. Currently a Policy Specialist at the University of Oxford's Pandemic Sciences Institute, he contributes to initiatives that strengthen epidemic and pandemic preparedness across Africa. Over the years, he has worked across public health, management consulting, academia, and nonprofit leadership, building a career dedicated to solving complex societal challenges and expanding opportunities for underserved communities. Adebisi holds degrees in Pharmacy, Public Health, and Public Policy from Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Ibadan, and the University of Oxford, respectively, and is currently pursuing a DPhil in Global Health and Tropical Medicine at Oxford. A passionate observer of people and society, Adebisi writes stories that explore ambition, identity, migration, leadership, and the pursuit of purpose. His debut novel, Brain Gain, draws inspiration from his lived experiences and the journeys of countless Africans navigating opportunities across borders. Through fiction, he seeks to illuminate the transformative power of education, innovation, and human potential, while offering a hopeful vision of Africa's future.
