Note to prospective purchasers of my first novel: There is no ePub version of Vortex. Unusual fonts and spacing in the novel's text do not convert appropriately to the ePub standard, and there would be negative effect on the novel. The PDF ebook version replicates the print version completely. It lacks only the ePub flowability feature. I am told that Adobe has added a re-flow facility to its Acrobat Reader software. It may not be supported by all devices that can open PDF files. Reflow should be found under the "view" options and called "word-wrap." Specifically for Amazon Kindle users . . . Going by what I am told: ePub eBooks are not supported on Kindle devices, but Kindle second-generation devices can display PDF documents without losing the formatting of the original file. Also, Amazon provides a conversion feature. However, using Calibre might generate a more satisfactory device rendering.
