Chelsea Burgess was born in October, 1999, in Adelaide, South Australia. She has always loved books and has been writing her own stories since she could hold a pencil! She spent her early years living in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide with both parents and her older brother, Jayden. When Chelsea was 8 years old, she moved with her family to Victoria. Since moving, Chelsea has written two novels and many short stories. The first book Chelsea published was 'Backwards' in November 2009. She had just turned 10 years old! Just over a year later, Chelsea completed her second novel, 'Earth Child'. Chelsea enjoys reading, writing, swimming, chocolate, and spending time with family and friends. She likes to spend her weekends writing books, playing with friends, reading and cuddling her dog Harry (a shaggy black dog named after a famous character in one of her family's favourite books!).
