I am a Jamaican by birth and an American at heart. I have written poetry from a very you age and have shown only a few close friends my work. in my poetry i try to engage my audience into sight of what is not shown on the surface but of what one hides beneath. The thoughts of love, abandonment, of fear and of pain. These are the thoughts of one's feelings of dispair yet there is always hope. I do not see myself as the great Maya Angelou or Edgar Allen Pope. I just want people to see that we all feel the same in any type of situations.
