Dr. Carson Rawles is an author, psychotherapist, and Doctor of Psychology whose work focuses on mental health, human behavior, resilience, and the effects of social and environmental conditions on individuals and communities. His doctoral research examined the effects of resource deprivation on African Americans who have experienced incarceration. Through his writing, Dr. Rawles seeks to translate psychological research and clinical concepts into meaningful, accessible discussions about trauma, recovery, personal growth, and the human experience.
