Raymond Lee Evans, born on February 10th, 1971, in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA, has lived a life full of unexpected twists and memorable moments. Raised by his parents, Jerry and Dianne Evans, who were nothing short of superheroes in his eyes, Raymond grew up with four siblings in a household that was as chaotic as it was loving—think The Huxtables meets Good Times. There was never a dull moment, but it was always filled with love, strong values, and plenty of life lessons.From a young age, Raymond was a music enthusiast, and while he won $100 for an essay in middle school, music was always where his heart was. He poured himself into a band and was even recognized for his efforts. In high school, he balanced his love for music with a commitment to JROTC, eventually becoming a Lieutenant Colonel and earning a spot on the school's wall of fame.After graduating, Raymond joined the Army, serving in various operations, including Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti. But, true to his passion, he eventually reclassified into the United States Army Band, where he could play trumpet and sing—living the dream, even if it meant early mornings.Post-military life brought its own challenges. Raymond navigated the ups and downs of relationships, including a divorce and remarriage. There were moments when he questioned whether a marriage was truly for him, but he found clarity and comfort in prayer—his own personal relationship therapist.
