About
César Vilarinho

César Vilarinho is a systems thinker working across hospitality, real estate and the built environment, and the creator of Governed Hospitality Systems, an institutional approach developed around enduring Conditions of Life rather than conventional typologies, brands or experiences. His work explores the relationship between people, place, territory, continuity, governance and the long-term coherence of human environments. Through his writing and systems work, he examines how hospitality and real estate can move beyond the logic of products and categories toward governed structures capable of protecting meaningful conditions of life over time. He is the author of The Future of Hospitality: From Places to Conditions of Life and Designing Conditions of Life: A New Discipline for Hospitality, Real Estate and the Built Environment, as well as the founding books of several Governed Hospitality Systems.
