Chanté Husemann is a Storyteller first, Creative second, and Digital Marketer as a result. From a young age, her Liberian mother encouraged her to fall in love with the written language by telling stories from her own childhood, buying boxed sets of Hooked on Phonics, and bringing home every book with a Black character on the front cover that she could find. It was from these early seeds that Chanté has now sprouted into the writer she is today, some twenty-something years later. Her goal in life is to be able to tell stories that people talk about for generations to come and hopefully make enough from her stories to never have to clock in again.
