Writer, poet, author, performer, recording artist, and human rights activist Christopher D. Sims has been writing poetry since he was nice years old. At the age of nine he knew that writing and reciting raps/poems was what he was put on this earth to do. Thanks to early rap/hip-hop music Christopher D. Sims is an internationally known and respected wordsmith. His latest book is entitled If Black Lives Mattered. Newly relocated to East Hampton, NY, he's now known as The Long Island Poet.
