Jean P. Chinal is a graduate of the French Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique, the University of Michigan (M.Sc.) and the Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France (Dr. ès sciences), with training and professional experience in the fields of aeronautical and electrical engineering. His two main fields of interest today are the influence of systemic concepts in the structuring of technical projects and Boolean algebra, a subject on which two of his earlier books have been published in France.
