Rob Rice is a full Professor and Chair of the Graduate Program in Mental Health Counseling at St. John Fisher University. He earned is Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 2009 and has focused most of his research on integrating technology such as video games with mental health treatment. Dr. Rice’s passion for the outdoors and natural world have inspired projects involving integrative medicine and he is the project director for the integrated health care training program at St. John Fisher. He is also the author of Video Games in Psychotherapy, a book written to teach mental health providers new skills for meeting young people where they are at in psychotherapy.
