As a child, Corella used to wake up to a fiction book and lay in bed reading it until her body demanded that she get up. Her love for reading developed into a love for writing, and the formative stages of her first book took place while teaching in bush Alaska where the long, dark winters demanded a creative outlet. Now a missionary in Thailand, Corella enjoys using her writing to bring the Bible to life and make its historical context memorable. When she's not chasing her two exuberant children or studying Thai with her patient husband, Corella still likes to find quiet moments to stick her nose in a book and disappear.
