Dakin Dukane was formerly an IT Lecturer at an inner city college where he taught for over ten years. "Gunn" is the first in a chronological series of books beginning in 1940. Born in fifties London, England, Dakin drew on the many stories of his family and their friends of their lives during and after the war years for his inspiration, adding a twist of his own. Dakin is currently resident in the Philippines and is married to the Memsahib. They have four children in the UK.
